In Loving Memory of the Doritos of Club Penguin (DCP)

Hello troops,

March 29, 2017 marks the official end of the Doritos of Club Penguin (DCP).

After being created on February 8, 2010 we quickly rose to the top and became one of the strongest armies in Club Penguin history. We were able to shock the army world within weeks of being created, taking out the top dog at the time, the ACP. We were deemed a World Power months after creation and while not only did we beat multiple legendary armies, we stood together for years to come to prove our dominance. No one saw that a chip-related army would become big except for the Nachos, and we proved the Club Penguin army community wrong.

I never wanted to have to shut down my own creation, and it saddens me to have to do so as I believed that we could have kept putting up a good fight for many years to come. This moment was bound to happen as every game usually eventually dies out. I want the DCP to be remembered as an army that kept strong from the beginning, all the way until the end.

We have had thousands of join applications over the years, and each and every person who decided to join made a big impact on the army. Even those who joined and forgot that they did, the interest shown in joining is what made us improve ourselves on a regular basis. We couldn’t have done what we have done without every single DCP troop.

I came into armies in May of 2009, and throughout my years in this community lots of change occurred, both good and bad. I have to admit, DCP has done multiple wrongs, I have done many wrongs. But we need to keep in mind that this is not the name itself that made the wrong, it was the leaders at the time. The leaders are the ones who are supposed to filter the good from the bad, and sometimes certain things are hard to catch, and sometimes it was too late to fix. Most of the DCP leaders have had their regrets, and i’m sure some regular troops have too. In the end, we learned a lesson throughout everything that we have done. We have tried out best to correct it, and move on to become better. That is what made us a family, and kept our legacy going for over 7 years.

We never gave up, and we battled through all the hate. We always tried to fight for the right reasons.  Last but not least, the DCP constantly tried to prove the powerful presence that we always were, and we were successful. We were deemed one of the strongest armies of all time by CPAC, statistics do not lie.

I am more than proud of what we have accomplished as a team over the years, we have defeated all odds. Because of the Club Penguin army community, we all have learned quite a bit. We all in a way grew up together, we saw each other evolve, gaining skills and later  becoming our own leaders.

Although I haven’t had the opportunity to lead DCP from beginning to end, it feels like I have. Being the creator came with many responsibilities, retired or not, I always had to be the one to make the serious and final decisions, and closing the army with the right people means the world to me.

Thank you to the final leaders for making the army go out with a bang – Mustapha for your countless years of service to the army, your dedication has never gone unnoticed and you are by far one of the best leaders the army world has ever seen. Bam who has seen DCP through all of its struggles and always been there for support. You have been a best friend of mine for years and if it weren’t for you most troops would have not experienced the entire DCP experience. Toysoldier, i’m glad you took the opportunity to retire as a Dorito where you belonged. Rodgahs and Brad, thank you for being a good addition to leadership the last few months.

Thank you all armies for putting up a good fight over the years, if it weren’t for everyone we wouldn’t have had the legacy that we had created.

There are too many people to thank, everyone has made a great impact. We exceeded all expectations that the leaders and I ever saw coming. We never knew we would be as huge as we were.

Lastly, I will never forget all that we have done. Thank you everyone for what you made this army into. Everyone has shaped this army so positively and have created this army into the best I have ever been in and lead. I am more than proud of every single one of you. I have teared up from how much fun we have had over the years together. Our childhood was just outstanding being able to play this game together. I would never change a thing.

For the last time,

Fear the Shield

  1. This is truly a wonderful post Brandon, Thanks for everything Wwe – you still are to this day one of my best friends, Even my mother commented on its closure last night when I was talking to her – (I was literally chocking up lol) but this post is a real heart breaker. I wish i had done more, I wish DCP had more years left in them – but at the same time Im so relieved to have spent it this much time with you all.

We turned some half baked penguin game into something far greater and so much more interesting, We made friends that will last a life time and people I have told more about my life than my own family. This trip – this adventure or whatever you can call this has been so amazing. Its hard for me to even process its ending all here and now.

Everyone needs to make sure we stay in contact with each other, i dont want to lose anyone else – you guys are literally family to me. Thank you all for all the amazing hard work you put into this army and the community as a whole.

If you ever cant find someone come and comment or post on this site. give us our your contact information (not your damn address) but like your kik or your steam or something we can at the very try to pull together.

this site will be open for years to come, the memory and all the things we accomplished must be remembered. We’ve got to do our best to make this legacy push on.

  2. Love you wwe

  3. My heart is broken. I will miss you DCP.

  4. Thanks for everything, the memories and of course for the time everyone put into such a great army that was DCP.

I give my best to everyone.

  5. Thanks for everything you have done for me, Wwe. You were truly an amazing leader and I always wanted to be just like you. Thanks for taking a chance in me.

  6. Hello. Farley128 here. i know i didn’t attend events since 2014 and didn’t attend the final, but I will miss you all. maybe we can start this army on a different game?

  7. Thank you for everything Wwe. This post is absolutely amazing. You have always kept it real no matter what the circumstances were, and that is nearly unheard of around here. You recruited me into your legacy, and ever since then I have aimed and tried my very best to make you proud. You were not only an inspiration but a motivation for everything I have ever pushed towards. You and Bam alike have always been people that I have looked up to. There’s literally like no words I can say that will explain this all. We are brothers and we have had our ups and downs but we always reunite like true brothers do, and believe it or not – nobody was ever able to compare to us. Thanks again, for everything. I am glad that our army was extremely successful over the years, nothing I can do can repay you for your contributions and guidance throughout this great journey in the army world.

  8. I’ll miss Dcp

  9. why dont we continue on club penguin islands? We can conquer there too,AND still be a clan!

  10. As head colonel of DCP and probably all leaders and owners would agree, I announce this post to be the last post of DCP. I hope all of you will have a good day in the future. See you in Club Penguin Island

  11. I am also here to announce that I am going to join my former Penguin army RPF since now DCP decided to end the legacy instead of CPPS servers. It might be different compared to here but at least I could still play Club Penguin like I used to be.

  12. I can’t believe it’s over.

  13. Viva los doritos

  14. But then cpo returned and The doritos live on to become the best army forever
